- BYD. As the leading brand of China’s new energy vehicles, BYD is welcomed by consumers in Central Asia, Russia and other regions due to its high cost performance and advanced technology, exporting 242,000 new energy passenger cars in 2023, up 334% year-on-year.
- Chery. As an important brand in China’s passenger car exports, Chery’s cumulative exports reached 937,100 units in 2023, a year-on-year increase of 101.1%, and it also occupied a certain share at the Khorgos Port, where the diversity and reliability of its products meet the needs of consumers in different countries and regions.
- Chang’an Automobile. Export business at the Khorgos Port is also more active, and in 2023, under the environment of overall growth in global passenger car exports, Changan actively expanded its overseas markets and increased its export volume, with its rich product line and constantly improving product quality.
With the growing demand for automobiles in Central Asia and Russia, there is an increasing demand for cost-effective passenger cars with rich configurations, and with the advancement of the “One Belt, One Road” initiative, which also promotes the export of passenger cars at the Khorgos Port, the China Car export volume is expected to continue to grow in the future.
