Exterior Design

In terms of appearance, the Changan Eado has undergone minor adjustments to its styling. For example, a continuous LED daytime running light assembly has been added, integrating the Changan logo with the light assembly to form a unified design. The headlights retain their narrow shape, but the internal light source has been adjusted to a double three-spoke vertical layout. Furthermore, the front bumper features a dot-matrix frameless grille design with a cooling vent below. The triangular air vents on both sides have also been optimized, resulting in a more stylish and dynamic overall look. The new Changan Eado will add a new “Elegant Blue” body color, while still offering Andes Gray and Sparkling Ice Crystal White as body color options.

From the side, the Changan Eado maintains the traditional three-box sedan design. The decorative panel on the front fender connects to the headlights, and the lower part of the doors features a concave crease design to increase the sense of layering. The door frames are also adorned with silver chrome trim. The Changan Eado is also equipped with 18-inch multi-spoke wheels. In terms of dimensions, the new Changan Eado measures 4785/1840/1440 (1450) mm in length, width, and height, respectively, with a wheelbase of 2765 mm. Compared to the current model, the length has increased by 15 mm.

At the rear, the new Changan Eado features a new three-stage adjustable electric rear spoiler, supporting different opening angles in various modes. Additionally, the Eado’s continuous taillights have been optimized, with the vehicle logo integrated into the design. The taillight layout echoes the front LED lights, providing good visibility when illuminated. The rear bumper adopts a layered design in a different color from the body and is equipped with dual rectangular exhaust tips on both sides.

Interior Design

Inside, the Changan Eado features a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument panel, more refined than the previous model, paired with a three-spoke two-tone multi-function steering wheel. The center console boasts a 14.6-inch horizontal multimedia touchscreen, below which are physical buttons and air vents. The center console area includes a wireless charging pad, electronic gear shifter, and dual cup holders, resulting in a more technologically advanced layout and design. The Eado’s interior will be available in three two-tone colors: Obsidian Black, Mysterious Red, and Purple White.

In terms of features, the new Changan Eado will be equipped with practical features such as ventilated/heated front seats, power-adjustable driver’s seat, an 8-speaker audio system, 256-color ambient lighting, and a panoramic sunroof. For intelligent features, the new car will be equipped with the TianShu Smart Cockpit and TianShu OS infotainment system, with all models featuring the DeepSeek AI large-model voice system, supporting full-scene voice interaction.

In terms of driver assistance features, the new Changan Eado will offer adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, lane keeping assist, rear cross traffic alert, rear collision warning, and remote parking, depending on the model configuration.

Power

For powertrains, the new Changan Eado will offer both gasoline and plug-in hybrid versions. The gasoline version is equipped with a 1.5T turbocharged engine, producing a maximum power of 141 kW and a maximum torque of 310 Nm, paired with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission, achieving a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 8 seconds. In the future, Changan will also launch a plug-in hybrid version of the Eado, featuring a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine combined with an electric motor.
