Hongqi is a high-end automobile brand directly operated by China FAW. On January 8, 2018, China FAW released the new Hongqi brand strategy, with “Chinese New Noble Sophistication” as the brand concept.On October 23, 2018, Hongqi brand signed a contract to become the diamond partner of the Fifth World Internet Conference.
In April 2022, China FAW joined hands with Israel’s Samelet Group to hold the launch ceremony of Hongqi’s flagship model, the E-HS9, in the central Israeli city of Tel Aviv, marking the official landing of Red Flag vehicles in the Israeli market.
At present, the main new energy models under Hongqi are Hongqi E-QM5.
