Exterior Design
As a purely electric model of BMW X3, BMW iX3 has not invested too much effort in exterior design, and the overall basic continuation of the styling style of the fuel model, only in the details of fine-tuning, so as to indicate the identity of the electric version. For example, the double-kidney grille is closed, and there is an i logo on one side of the center grid. In addition, the whole car blacked out design approach, also makes it have a bit of Darth Vader’s sense of vision.
Dimensions, length, width and height were 4746/1891/1683mm, the body wheelbase reached 2864mm, although this size data in the BBA class camp does not occupy an advantage, but the positioning of the standard axle, but also let this BMW iX3 has a relatively excellent maneuverability. Coupled with the multi-waist line and smoked black painted 20-inch sports wheels, it can be said to be very consistent with the BMW style, but also to cater to the aesthetic tastes of young people.
Coming to the rear of the BMW iX3, it is still the familiar BMW X3 look. Thick and wide overall profile, the aura created in line with the identity of the luxury medium-sized SUV. 3D floating style smoked taillight combination, also recognizable embodiment of the high degree, looks sporty.
Interior Design
BMW iX3 does not use BMW’s latest dual-screen design language, the novelty given is relatively general. However, the soft material-based interior materials and the 12.3-inch floating center display ensure that the BMW iX3 has the luxury quality and class that it deserves. Unlike the fuel version, the BMW iX3 has done away with the chicken-leg shifter, which has been replaced by a pocket-sized electronic shifter.
In terms of features, the BMW iX3 is equipped with automatic parking, panoramic video, head-up display, sensor-activated rear tailgate, full keyless entry and heated front seats. The addition of electric car sound simulation also makes this BMW iX3 more fun to drive.
Power Range
The BMW iX3 is equipped with a rear-mounted single motor with a maximum power of 210kW and a maximum torque of 400N-m. 0-100km/h acceleration time is 6.8 seconds, which is not enough to give us an eye-catching feeling, but is basically the same as that of the models with the mainstream 2.0T high-power engine, so there is no problem at all in terms of both urban transportation and high-speed driving. In the range section, the BMW iX3 is able to provide a pure electric range of 535km with the support of the 80kWh capacity Li-ion ternary battery pack.
