Exterior Design
The exterior of Yangwang U9 retains the design elements of a supercar and adds the overall sense of a future electric supercar.
The length, width and height of Yangwang U9 are 4966x2029x1295/1338mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2900mm, and comes standard with a carbon fiber roof, rear diffuser, and optional electric rear wing. The new car is available in three color options: Lunar Obsidian Silver, Argyle Purple, and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Yangwang U9 reconstructs the elegant body of the electric sports car with the golden section aesthetics, subverting the proportions of the traditional fuel sports car. Thanks to the futuristic design elements of the “Gate of Time”, Yangwang U9 has a very visually impactful and powerful shape, with dynamic and explosive lines, which expresses the speed and heat of the burst of technological energy, and expresses the innovative spirit of fearlessness, exploration and aggressiveness.
Interior Design
Yangwang U9 interior, the new car adopts a large area of carbon fiber decoration and suede wrapped, the main driver and passenger formed between the symmetrical layout of the “left and right mirror”: both sides are equipped with a screen, the central control consists of vertical central control screen and instrument screen, passenger entertainment screen.
Technology
Yangwang’s entire model lineup is equipped with the disruptive technology E-Square, a power system centered on a four-motor independent drive, in which each motor can independently control a single wheel, realizing the drive, braking, forward and reverse of a single wheel, allowing the vehicle to have superb body attitude adjustment capabilities. Easysquare’s electric drive assembly utilizes a deeply integrated design of the motor and electronic control box for a more compact structure. The power of single motor covers 220kW~240kW, and the horsepower of the whole vehicle is over 1,100 horsepower. The Yangwang U8 equipped with the Yiqiang platform can realize three-second 100km acceleration, while the front and rear electric drive assemblies are equipped with differential locks, which further strengthens the off-road extrication capability. Thanks to the independent torque control technology of four wheels, Yangwang U8 can better cope with extreme roads and working conditions, such as high-speed tire blowout, emergency obstacle avoidance, snow, ice, gravel and other surfaces, so as to make the driving safer; at the same time, Easysquare’s technology allows U8 to have a steering radius of an A0-class small car, and to realize agile steering, turn around and other functions in the same place.
