Exterior Design

Zeekr 9X follows the same family design style as Zeekr 009, with a borderless style front grille and a central dense-spoke straight waterfall element trim with a large chrome-plated decorative surface, which, according to the official introduction, is 120cm wide and 70cm high, bringing about an atmospheric and stout visual effect. At the same time, the car adopts the C-shaped vertical and horizontal star diamond matrix headlight group that tends to be flat, making it look luxurious and exquisite. It is worth mentioning that Zeekr 9X is also available in Obsidian Black Edition, which is equipped with a large number of smoked black appearance kits as a whole, including smoked black wheels and blacked-out front grille, etc. Combined with the body volume of Zeekr 9X, it meets the needs of users who pursue blacked-out aesthetics.

Side view, the car uses smoked A-pillars to create a flybridge yacht-style roof, while tending to straight roof lines to enhance the headroom performance of vehicle members. It is worth noting that the car does not use hidden door handles, but instead gives the car a mechanical aesthetic. In addition, the official ZEEKR brand embossed logo on its D-pillar. In terms of body color, the new car will be offered in seven choices of Extreme Day White, Extreme Night Black, Glacier Silver, Dark Night Purple, Star Dome Gray, Black Knight and Wilderness Green.

Its rear is different from the design of large SUVs in the same class, with rich facets and lines, equipped with 42,242 diamond-cut facets of different sizes through the laser engraving process to create a diamond-cut faceted ring through the tail lamps, as well as a larger spoiler on the roof, avoiding to make the car look flattened. At the same time, Zeekr 9X is equipped with heaven and earth door as well as range view seats, which appropriately expands the car’s scenarios as well as outdoor attributes. In terms of body dimensions, the length, width and height of the new car are 5239/2029(2019)/1819mm, and the wheelbase is 3169mm, positioning it as a large SUV.

Interior design

Inside the vehicle, Zeekr 9X has a new design idea, which offers three color schemes: moonshadow blue, polar white, and amber brown, of which polar white and amber brown adopt the upper dark and lower light color collision scheme, paired with chrome elements in many details inside the vehicle, which greatly enhances the vehicle’s sense of sophistication. At the same time, Zeekr 9X is also equipped with a 47-inch AR-HUD head-up display and a 16-inch dual-link screen consisting of a floating center control screen + passenger screen, which has a 3.5K resolution with a high refresh rate of 90Hz, greatly enhancing the front passenger’s experience of using the car. In addition, the car in the center control island platform and other 14 places to add real wood veneer, according to the official disclosure of each piece of real wood for 20 hours of hand-polished, with the use of 29 cutting process of the crystal knob, everywhere to increase the sense of high grade.

In the rear, the car is also equipped with a 17-inch 3K OLED winged sliding screen, which adopts double-layer tandem OLED screen technology (Tandem OLED), with a 3ms response time, together with a car-grade 90Hz refresh rate, to enhance the entertainment attributes. In addition, Zeekr officially cooperates with Naim, a British audio brand, to equip Zeekr 9X with Naim’s Temple Sound audio system, which covers an ultra-wide frequency range of 20Hz-40,000Hz, with the tweeter adopting Naim’s patented “M-type titanium membrane” to enhance sound diffusion and linear response, bringing a better audio-visual experience.

Meanwhile, Zeekr 9X adopts 32 top-quality speakers, supports Dolby Atmos 9.2.4.8 sound field layout, 9 surround channels, 4 sky channels, 8 headrest audio, and innovatively arranges independent sound channels in the three rows and on both sides of the D-pillar to construct an immersive and dense stereo sound network. In addition, Zeekr 9X Naim Hall of Fame Sound audio system, to create six sound field modes (Naim sound, master recording studio, Hall of Fame concert, private theater, luxury dynamic club, pure vocal realm), to meet the different preferences of users. It is worth mentioning that Naim’s partner in the automotive field was previously only the Bentley brand, and the Zeekr brand became its second global partner in the automotive field, greatly increasing the emotional value of the vehicle to the user.

In addition to audio-visual entertainment, the Zeekr 9X, a six-seat large SUV, is also very sophisticated in terms of seating, with its interior seats equipped with Soft NAPPA full-grain headliner leather as standard, with a full wrap area of 5.5 square meters, and the third row of seats equipped with a maximum 135-degree reclining angle and 140-millimeters of electric forward and backward sliding travel as standard across the entire system. The second row of seats is equipped with a zero gravity mode, with a 145-degree reclining angle for the seat back, a 122-degree zero-pressure angle for the lumbar area, and a 125-degree zero-pressure angle for the leg area, which enhances the comfort of the second-row passengers.

In terms of details, Zeekr 9X is the first to create a row of cloud seats, with a cushion width of more than 53 centimeters, and each seat has a 12-layer seat structure and a 10-millimeter resilient sponge. It is worth noting that the traveling cloud seat not only supports “zero gravity seat mode”, but also has “Eames recliner, swivel seat, professional massage chair” three modes. In addition to the common zero gravity mode, Eames recliner mode allows the backrest angle to be adjusted to 132 degrees, the legrest angle to be adjusted to 90 degrees, the footrest to be adjusted to 82 degrees, and the motorized legrest to link with the motorized footrest (with the motorized footrest and the legrest in a horizontal state), which provides 10 zones of support including the legrest and the footrest to enable the user to maximize the stretching of the body.

Zeekr 9X rotates the second row of seats 180 degrees to sit opposite the third row, providing a new car scenario and enhancing the entertainment attributes of rear passengers. Power

As the first model of the Hohan-S architecture, Zeekr 9X is equipped with Hohan Super Electric Hybrid and AI Intelligent Chassis. Specifically, the car supports the 900V hybrid high-voltage architecture, which is equipped with a 2.0T hybrid special engine with a maximum power of 205kW, and front and rear dual motors with a maximum power of 290kW in front/370kW in the rear, so that the system’s integrated maximum power can be up to 1,030kW, and the acceleration time of 0-100km/h is 3.1 seconds. In terms of battery, the car is equipped with 55kWh and 70kWh 6C hybrid special battery packs, corresponding to the CLTC pure electric working range of 288km and 380km. Thanks to the support of 6C charging multiplier, its 20-80% replenishment takes only 9 minutes, which greatly improves the efficiency of daily use of the car.
